How to Hide Your Online Status and Last Seen on Telegram

By following these steps, others won’t be able to see your online status on Telegram, nor will they track your last seen information.

Step 1:

Open the Telegram app on your phone or computer.

Step 2:

Click the three lines in the top-left corner and select Settings.

Step 3:

Choose Privacy and Security and tap on Last Seen & Online.

Step 4:

Click on Nobody and confirm by clicking the check icon.

You can also hide the message read time from others. To do this, simply toggle on the Hide Read Time option. This will apply the reverse effect, meaning you won’t see others’ read times either unless you subscribe to Telegram Premium.

When you disable Last Seen & Online in Telegram, other users will see an approximate time, such as recently, within a week, or within a month, instead of your exact last seen.

Hide Your Telegram Presence From Specific Users and Groups

If you don’t want to disable your online presence on Telegram from everyone or all your contacts, you can utilize the “Add exceptions” feature for more specific control.

You can select particular people and groups to hide your online status and last seen from.
